If you are looking for a mattress protector, this is the one to buy. My wife and I just purchased a new mattress and the salesman suggested purchasing a protector as it will not only keep the mattress clean but will also increase the life of the mattress especially if you have a pillow top. Apparently the salt and oil from your sweat degrades the foam over time. I was a bit skeptical of it just being a sales ploy. The one that was recommended was a protect-a-bed brand as it allows the air through but not liquids or sweat. I took a sample piece home with me to do some research with. After doing quite a bit of research online, I agreed that it would be worth trying one. In the end I decided on the Luna brand for several reasons. I thought their website was very informative and the price was significantly less then the protect-a-bed brand. The best part is that it is made in the USA! We have used it for several nights now and there is no plastic noise, no sweating and I didn't even notice it is on the bed. We bought the Luna brand pillow protectors as well and they work just the same.

Just recently bought a king size bed, apparently they are not warrantied if there are any signs of use, therefore; I decided I needed a full proof mattress protector. I did not want a thick noisy topper, so I did a lot of research and came accross this one. I love it! It protects my bed thus far from normal body sweat and it looks like new under the cover. I washed it the day I received it and it washed great. Definitely recommend this cover to protect your mattress and not change the feel of your bed

We purchased a queen and king Luna mattress protector along with standard Luna pillow protectors for our home. The package arrived quickly, which was nice as we had just purchased new mattresses and wanted to protect them. Upon initial inspection, the quality of the protectors were very good and you could tell the materials used were made to last.

The Luna mattress protector covered the mattresses very nicely like a fitted sheet. We had seen the same Luna protectors in the mattress store, but they were almost twice the price so we figured we'd try to save a few bucks and look on Amazon.

All in all we feel protected having applied the Luna mattress protectors as the salesperson at the store showed us a demonstration with colored water proving the material was waterproof. Waterproof, dust mite proof, hypoallergenic and half the price on Amazon..... Would recommend this product to anyone

This mattress protector is the best I have found. I liked it so much that I purchased a second so that we have a spare. We bought several others from local stores, and we returned all of them for one of many reasons - including that they didn't fit our deep mattress right, they weren't waterproof, the zippered covers were too cumbersome, and the padded covers were so big they had to be taken to the dry cleaner's for cleaning. When we found this cover on Amazon, we were hopeful that we finally found one that would work well - and we did.

The cover fits perfectly on the mattress and does not shift during the night (despite the fact we are both restless sleepers). The cover is also comfortable - it is actually not even noticeable that it is on the bed, which is a good thing.

Great product, shipped and received on time. Even called the company before I bought it to confirm about the 10 yr warranty. Spoke with Mark and he told me about it- then Mark called me back ( I wasnt looking for a call back) to tell me more about the warranty as he was reading the warranty card.
The product is very quite and you wont even know you have it on.. Hopefully I not have any problems with it as we just go a new king bed. With the warranty I should not have a problem. I was looking at other places to by my protector BUT I am happy to have bought this one..

I love my cover. LOVE IT! It isnt noisy at all in my opinion. I was concerned about whether it would be accommodating for my thick mattress and memory foam mattress pad, but my fears were unfounded. It fit both very very well. It is nothing but perfect. Very infrequently do well reviewed product really size up to the lofty expectations of some reviews, but there is really nothing I would change or modify about this cover. Do yourself a favor and get this item. You'll be glad you did.

7.) Lightweight, Comfortable, Cool & It Works!

Purchased 2 including a king size for a master bedroom, and a twin for a 4-y-old childs new bed. They both fit well, plenty of room but not too much. Mine (the king) is very comfortable, don't even know it's there.

I was surprised (and nervous) though when I first opened the packages and saw how thin, and lightweight the covers are. I was terrified that if my son had an "accident" - which he hadn't had for several months - his new mattress would be a goner.

Well, the "unfortunate" has now happened twice for some reason and both times nothing went through. My husband took the linens off the bed both times (he gets up before me), so I didn't see either inicidence "initially" - but by the time I headed to the laundry I had to keep looking and looking and never saw signs of anything. Don't know WHERE it went. Have washed it 3x (including the 1st before use) - on cold, lightweight, and not overdrying because it is so lightweight I don't want to wear it out. But definitely amazing. And SO much better than the options out there in the department store which are 2x as much, bulky, and just plain uncomfortable to sleep on.

I haven't actually put it on our bed yet, but it appears to be like our other one, which is what I was looking for. I keep 2 so that I can change them periodically when I change the sheets and not have to wait on the laundry to remake the bed. They are so much more comfortable than the old "rubber" waterproof sheets. they don't cause sweating which make them much more comfortable to sleep on.

I hope it holds up better then the one I bought this one to replace which was starting to fall apart after ....well I guess it's been about 5 years.

When I first got this I was replacing an older one. I paid $80 for my first one from a home store. I think this one was half that and it was exactly the same. It protects my bed, and fits perfect. I have a pillow top so I need big sheets and this fits perfect.

This waterproof mattress pad is terrific. It does exactly what it says it will. It's very slim and fits easily under the sheet yet offers great protection. It's also breathable and is very comfortable and doesn't make any noises you'd associate with a waterproof cover. It's also fully sized and fits the mattress very easily. I purchased a sleep number bed and the warranty is only good if you use a waterproof protector on it. I have two of these Luna mattress protectors. I'd recommend them to anyone and I'd certainly purchase them again.

I purchased this mattress protector for a king sized mattress that has a plush pillow top (which makes the bed several inches thicker than a standard). The protector not only fits perfectly, but has saved the mattress from numerous bulldog puppy accidents. I have washed and dried it as directed at least five times and it is still in great condition. The protector does make the bed warmer, but I have not noticed any crinkling noise. It is a great value and works!

Our cover protects a king-size memory-foam mattress used by my toddler for playing, sleeping, and even the occasional picnic. It has faced many wet insults from various sources and has worked 100% reliably every time. It is comfortable to sleep on (don't even notice it's there), has no smell, makes absolutely no sound, and fits easily on the mattress. It has been washed many times (we hang dry it). It just works! We love it.

My wife and I recently purchased 2 new memory foam mattresses and wanted to purchase allergy pillow and mattress protectors that were waterproof. There are several on the market, but we chose to go with Luna based on the positive reviews we had seen. We were not disappointed when the protectors arrived. They went on very easily and makes no noise as advertised. The protectors are of high quality and we liked that they were made here in the U.S.A. Highly recommend!

I had purchased a waterproof mattress pad because my older cat had an accident on my pillow top mattress, and I wanted to prevent that. It was horrible. I woke up in the middle of the night perspiring profusely. I actually had to turn on the fan to dry the bed out because of the vinyl backing on the pad. Needless to say, I researched waterproof mattress pads and ended up buying this one. It fit perfectly, and I have a deep mattress. I have never been hot at night again. You would never guess it's waterproof. It stays put unlike the other one. Very comfortable. I would never again buy another brand of mattress pad. I highly recommend this one.

I bought this mattress protector because the kind you can buy at Walmart wear out so fast due to washing. I was surprised at how you can not tell it is even there. I haven't had to wash it, yet, but so far I like it.

Fit: I have a thick king mattress and it fit nicely.
Functionality: I haven't spilled anything, but it seems like it would protect the mattress.
Noise: It makes noticeable noise to me when I move around on the bed, a sort of swishing sound. It has been washed once.

If it wasn't noisy I would give it a 5.
