Purchased 2 including a king size for a master bedroom, and a twin for a 4-y-old childs new bed. They both fit well, plenty of room but not too much. Mine (the king) is very comfortable, don't even know it's there.

I was surprised (and nervous) though when I first opened the packages and saw how thin, and lightweight the covers are. I was terrified that if my son had an "accident" - which he hadn't had for several months - his new mattress would be a goner.

Well, the "unfortunate" has now happened twice for some reason and both times nothing went through. My husband took the linens off the bed both times (he gets up before me), so I didn't see either inicidence "initially" - but by the time I headed to the laundry I had to keep looking and looking and never saw signs of anything. Don't know WHERE it went. Have washed it 3x (including the 1st before use) - on cold, lightweight, and not overdrying because it is so lightweight I don't want to wear it out. But definitely amazing. And SO much better than the options out there in the department store which are 2x as much, bulky, and just plain uncomfortable to sleep on.

I recently figured out I was allergic to my mattress and pillow. I purchased both the Luna Mattress and pillow covers. They both seem very well made and fit perfect. They seem to be helping with my allergies. I also purchased these for my daughter who has asthma. She said they helped alot.

I'm extremely pleased with the $35 I spent on this. It really IS waterproof and has a good thickness to it. -Not some flimsy, cheap thing, so it's definitely worth the money! I'll be buying more of these for my daughter's bed, as I'm so pleased with the quality. :)

We needed this for our son who is sensitive to dust-mites and other critters. I am very impressed with how light and thin this is, while still being waterproof. It has helped his nighttime congestion and it washes and dries well. Way cheaper than having to buy a new mattress!

We were looking for a true waterproof mattress protector after promising our 3YO she would get a twin bed after 2 weeks straight of dry nights.
I ordered 2 of them, so we could have a spare one in case of "nighttime accident", which never happened (Yeah !!!)
The mattress protector itself is very soft on the top and its inside is "plastic like", without the plastic feeling... I don't know if people will understand me.
When it's placed on the bed, between the mattress and the sheet, it doesn't make any kind of noise and we can't feel it.
It washes well in the machine with her sheets and also goes in the dryer, low heat or 2 hours outside on a sunny day.

We are really pleased with this purchase and are thinking about getting some for our queen size bed, and a protector for our pillows (our daughter already has one for hers and they are also great !)

great product, super thin, not bulky and it really works. we had the vinyl kind and even though we washed according to the instructions the backing got ripped up and ruined after only 2 washes. The backing on this is great, quiet and washes perfectly. i don't put it in the dryer and it does take a while to air dry, but is ready by my daughter's nighttime.

Let me start by saying this was exactly what I was looking for and am very pleased.

I have a dog that sometimes makes "mistakes" on the bed (errr).

I was sleeping on a plastic drop cloth under the sheets. Great for the problem, but mercy did it reflect the heat.

I got this Luna, and the first night, I was very disappointed because I woke up sweating like a pig, but I think it was just me. That was only that night (and I had been recovering from a cold). I feel NO heat radiating from the pad. I wonder if those reviewers that had problems with reflected heat had it vinyl/plastic/whatever side up rather than cotton (or whatever) side up.

After having this for a couple of months, my little doggie girl had an accident last night. It worked great at preventing it getting on my mattress pad and topper I have underneath.

I have a select comfort bed with all that foam and the additional really thick mattress topper (king size). The mattress protector fits great. No problem with the thickness of the mattress with topper.

I greatly recommend this product.

Washed great (and you can even dry it).

This product is just as described and as reviewed. My child did do not feel it under her sheets. It is smooth and thin. Great feel. E xcellent with bed wetting! Protected the mattress and washed up just beautifully. I highly recommend this product. Especially for those who are very sensitive to fabrics.

10.) exactly what I was looking for

My newly potty trained 2.5 yr old has an awkward to change bed in a tiny hot room. The last thing I wanted is a sweaty plastic sheet or a difficult mattress bag. This thing is perfect. Doesn't make crinkly sounds, no smell, thin, breathable. You can sleep comfortably enough on it w/out a proper fitted sheet over top as well. Was a little put off by the price as I would have to buy two for middle of the night accidents, but well worth it. I intend to use it for years.

This product is great! There is no noise when the kids lay on their beds and it has a nice soft top. My youngest daughter recently tested the waterproof-ness, and yes it works great! Dry mattress :)

I would recommend this to anyone!

12.) Soft, must launder if gets wet

As others have noted, only the top surface of this pad is waterproof. It's not a bag for the mattress - just a top cover with elastic on the sides to hold it in place.

The top surface has a nice, towel-like feel to it. Unfortunately, that means that if it gets wet you need to launder it -- you can't just wipe it down.

It doesn't crinkle, seems thin, and should work. I haven't tested it for real yet, but poured some water on it after washing it, and it just sort of puddled up on top and didn't go through. I only gave it four stars because it's a bit on the pricey side for a thin, waterproof mattress protector.
