This is a really nice quality, comfortable mattress pad. The part that stretches over the mattress is real fabric, unlike the usual cheap stuff which is barely more than paper. It's not like a pillow top, or super thick, but it is just nice.

BUY THIS ONE!!! For the price, this is a steal. I got so tired of the typical department store mattress pad - the one that feels like it's made out of coffee filter paper and is a nightmare to put on. After months of struggling with the corners popping off under the sheet, I finally bought this pad based on other reviews. The quality is superb, the stretchy side fabric (real cloth!) stays put and the pad is nicely cushioned. My old pad went straight into the trash - where it belonged.

After melting my old mattress pad in the dryer, I shopped the stores and Amazon to find a new one and decided to try this pad. I hate, hate, hate the pads with stretchy, spider web sides that the slightest amount of pulling tears to pieces (which is why I shed no tears over melting the old one). This pad has a nice, stretchy solid material on the side - I think it's a knit polyester material - like a t-shirt. It is nicely sturdy and I didn't have a concern with ripping when I put it on my bed.

I could probably melt it if I tried, but I learned my lesson on drying mattress pads and will only line dry from now on. The padding on top isn't quite as thick as I might like, but it is definitely adequate. The price I paid was very competitive - better quality than an equivalently priced pad in the store. If I needed another mattress pad, I would most likely buy this one again.

I have bought numerous mattress pads over the years, and this one is best one I have found. I would purchase this again and would recommend it to everyone. Feels great, nice loft, easy fit. The material on the sides is not that cheap poke your finger through Kleenex type stuff, but actual stretchy material.

I was initially worried about the copious amount of stretchy material when placed on my smaller sized bed and memory foam topper, but it fits quite comfortably and grabs on quite well. Added to that is a much more comfortable feeling when laid down on compared to my old cover, or a junky plastic cover even! The threading on the top is fairly thick and quite nice when you lay on it. If this product holds up well over time I would easily purchase again.

I bought this for my gradson's bed at college. He loves it and says that it not only made sleeping on the bed so much better, but it changed the whole look of his bed. After washing several times, it is still holding up great.

Wow, was impressed with the thickness of the pad. Was very easy to put on our bed with the stretchy sides. Washed it and let it air dry after reading reviews where it fell apart. Sure doesn't look like it will fall apart. The back (the underside of the pad) looks like pretty high quality but I didn't want to risk it. My wife and I really like it. I'll update if I ever decide to test it in the dryer, but we have a HE washer that spins so fast, things like this come out almost dry.

This is the same as the Deluxe 100% Cotton Damask Stripe Mattress Pad, Queen but 370 thread count (both pads are made in china). This shouldn't be bought for cushioning really, as it doesn't make much of a cushion on top, but more makes like a nice smooth surface for sheets to go over (a pad on top with stretchy bed sheet style sides to go under the mattress and hold the pad in place), which is why I think it is good to go over a foam pad on a mattress, as foam isn't nice and smooth on top. It fits over the Sleep Studio ViscO2 Ventilated 2-Inch Thick Memory Foam Mattress Enhancer, Cal King foam cause it has strechy sides (if you buy foam I recommend getting the larger size and then cutting it to fit your mattress as the mattress foam sizes are all slightly smaller than the size of mat they're made for).

I bought this mattress pad for my husband, who is currently serving overseas in Afghanistan. He is more than thrilled with the quality of this product! The "bed" he had is nothing more than springs and wires. He told me he needed something to allow him to sleep comfortably, so based on the reviews, I chose this mattress pad. After speaking with him today, he is quite happy! He says the mattress pad is enough to provide him with a peaceful night of sleep...which makes me happy! So...for all the spouses of deployed soldiers downrange...this mattress pad seems to do the job! Hooray for a peaceful night's sleep for our boys!

And by the way, I purchased TWO pads...just in case..and my husband informed me that ONE does the job! He is happily giving the extra pad to a soldier in need of a good night's rest!

This is the nicest mattress pad I've ever seen in my life. The cover is all cotton, much more tightly woven and heavier than most, and it even has a jacquard line/plaid pattern. The filling is a little thicker. And the sides are stretchy tricot-type material - not that papery kind that tears! Fits a deep mattress - very deep, as they say.

The price is incredible - I would expect to pay three times this. Buy it already!

This arrived in a nice plastic bag and was even better quality than I thought it was going to be. It looks and feels more expensive than some I have looked at in the stores. It makes the bed more comfortable but my husband says it makes him too hot at night! I'm fine tho. I will not be drying this in the dryer after washing it though as I do not want it to shrink. It fits nice as it is and the elastic is great with plenty of give and extra material. I would recommend this item for sure!!!!

I haven't washed it yet, but when I dry it, I will keep a close eye on it as some reviewers have complained about parts of this product melting. It's well-made and fits my 10" mattress with a 2" foam pad perfectly. It has a generous amount of padding and is quite comfortable.

This is a nice pad for the money. It's very similar to the pad I'm replacing, which cost twice as much five years ago.

The top fabric is heavy and tightly woven, and there's plenty of fluffy spun polyester for padding underneath. The sides are made of good quality stretchy fabric that I anticipate will hold up well. The pad is sized perfectly and can accommodate my thick pillowtop mattress without squishing the edges.

The only reason I'm not giving the pad five stars is because the craftsmanship is less than great. Stitching is wavy and really crooked, and one of the seams is sewn funky. Looks funny but should be perfectly serviceable.

I haven't washed the pad yet, but I'll update this review when I do.

Well, the pad has been washed now, and it's still looking pretty good. I had to repair the funky seam, as it started unraveling. As much as I like the pad (especially the quality materials), I can't give it more than 4 stars. I would buy it again, anyways.

The pad has been washed numerous times and is still looking good. It even survived an intensive chlorine-bleach session after the cat peed on it. The stretchy material is a little softer now and the filling isn't quite as fluffy as it used to be, but that's perfectly understandable considering the use (and abuse) the pad has been through. No tears in the material, no bunching, no pilling, no melting -- I'm still giving it a thumbs up.

I have an older feather bed atop my mattress. Feathers poke through and made my nice soft bed irritatingly uncomfortable. Before I bought this pad I'd read a few reviews which said this pad covered a pillow top mattress nicely. The reviews were correct. It fits nicely, is made well and I have yet to feel or see a feather. The price was fabulous for a King size pad.

My wife loves it and she's the original "princess and the pea" personna. She's used it 3 weeks now and zero complaints; so I guess it's OK with me.
Personally, I think it could be a little thicker (more filling?).

This twin bed mattress pad is of a very good quality. It has the stretch sides that enables it to fit over the trickiest of mattresses. The pad itself seems thick enough to meet most needs. Since it has a modest price most will be pleased with this pad. Time will tell how the stretchy sides hold up, which is why I rated it with 4 stars.

Very good quality. My mattress is about 15-17 inches thick and I was afraid it wouldn't fit, but it fits and there is still room. If you have a topper on your mattress it will fit fine.
Great quality for the price. Pleasantly surprised.

Surface of pad is nice, but the slippery, sleazy stretch expandable grip skirt allows sheets to slide off the mattress. Annoying. The product is listed as cotton but the sides are not cotton. Although the stretch factor accommodates a thick mattress, product would be more effective if it were all cotton.

In an effort to accommodate the rediculously deep mattresses that some companies are putting out today, some mattress covers have sides that are so deep that unless you have one of these monster mattresses you wind up with an excess of fabric that is all baggy around the sides and allows the cover to slip and slide instead of lying nicely fitted. I see this as a serious drawback. Let people who buy these odd sized mattresses buy extra deep mattress covers to fit them. Don't force everyone to buy ill fitting mattress covers in order to provide a one size fits all product. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Initial quality seemed great until I slept on it. I sweat a lot at night and this pad doesn't breathe like the others I used. Similar to sleeping on something water proof or plastic (not quite that bad). I recommend a different pad for people like me.

After a few washes I mistakenly dried it on medium and it melted destroying it.

I purchased this pad based on the great reviews it has. It is a very nice mattress pad; the padding is good and it fits the mattress very easily and the skirt wraps around the mattress without ripping or tearing like other mattress pads I've owned. Unfortunately mine melted in the dryer. The underside of the pad is destroyed and the filling is coming out. So disappointed!!

This product looked and sounded great in the description, so I ordered three of them - 2 twins and one queen. I washed them all and discovered, while making the beds, that all three had HOLES on the underside!!! Not just small holes, but BIG ones! The top looked great. As luck would have it, I had thrown away the packaging... so I went to the Amazon.com site to see what I could do. As far as I could determine, I was just out of luck, with no recourse to complain or get my money back. It is a real bummer!!!
