I've gotta admit I really like these mattress protectors. They don't change the feel of our mattresses, nor cause overheating and sweating like our previous protectors.. They fit nicely on our low profile latex mattresses (which are slightly longer & skinnier than our regular mattresses) They also fit our thicker profile mattresses. They wash nicely and dry quickly. The kids spilled an entire glass of water in the center of one and none of it went through. (the top is completely water proof but the sides are not, so if water spills down the side it may or may not protect the mattress) either way they're a great buy! We are very satisfied with our purchase. We will be purchasing more mattress protectors and replacing our current pillow protectors with these as well.

After a lot of hesitation, I finally bought this mattress protector and am so glad I did! It was inexpensive, it fits my very deep pillowtop mattress, doesn't feel like I'm sleeping on vinyl (can't really tell much at all that it's even there), and for the first time in years I'm waking up without the congestion that continually plagued me. Best purchase I've made in a long time.

I ordered this for my 4 year old daughter's new mattress, and boy am I glad I did. Shortly after we put it on, she decided to give her stuffed animals a 'bath' in her bed. She dumped most of a water bottle all over them and her bed. The sheets and blankets and animals were soaked - amazingly when I put my hand under the mattress pad the mattress was perfectly dry! I was impressed and would highly recommend it.

The easiest way for me to describe this mattress is that i forgot I even had it on my bed until I got a reminder for this review. I have a memory foam mattress and after I put this mattress protector on I couldn't tell a difference. I can't say whether it's effective or not because there have been no doggy accidents or spills but it fits over my oversized king mattress and has absolutely no "plasticy" feel.

My husband has been having sinus and lung problems for about 9 months. After going to the doctor numerous times and getting nowhere, he went to an allergy clinic. They tested him for a bunch of stuff and turns out he has an allergy to dust mites. They said it could be in his mattress and to look into a cover. He and I have only been married about 9 months and we sleep on the 4 year old mattress I had from before. It is in great shape, but is a pillow top mattress. I read that mites can live in pillow tops easier than regualr mattresses. So, after looking online I found this cover. I am not joking when I say almost over night he felt better. He is not 100% yet, but this cover has helped so much. It also is long enough for my deep mattress. I cant even tell a difference with having it on. As in, I have a fitted sheet over it and it feels like nothing is between the fitted sheet and mattress. I am really happy I bought it and once I read more about this company and that they are family owned, I felt even better about buying it!
It is seriously a great product and I Will buy from them again in the future.

I bought two of these in queen size for my home and for my daughter. We were looking for waterproof (baby in the house), comfortable, light and inexpensive. After I bought the first one - I immediately ordered the second. The mattress protector is great. It fits under whatever sheet/other protectors you may use, and is not noticeable. I will probably buy more for other bedding.

I have gone through several awful mattress protectors. This one looked great at the mattress store, but it was $90 for a King Size. I found it here on Amazon for $26 including shipping! The cover stays on, it doesn't make you feel hot, and it doesn't make noise when you move around. We just received ours last week and are loving it.

I have had this product for a little over a month and I love it! You cannot even tell it is on the mattress, and it puts my mind at ease knowing that the new mattresses I just bought are well protected. This is by far the best mattress protector I have come across. Being waterproof is especially a bonus because we have two small children who can find rather creative ways of getting the bed wet. This product exceeded all my expectations! I got the product to protect my mattress against my dogs, but it has done so much more. I have a plush pillowtop queen mattress that the mattress protector covered the entirely, and in addition, the pillowtop used to cause me to sweat but with the mattress protector, it allows the mattress to breathe which makes for a more comfortable night's sleep.

So far, I have only spilled some juice on the mattress, which was prevented from reaching my mattress, so I don't know how it works against dog urine, but it worked perfectly thus far.

I have had a more comfortable night's rest since obtaining the mattress protector and plan to buy more for Christmas presents later this year.

This is a Great product at an even Better Price. This is so much better than the $100 waterproof mattress protector I was considering buying at Bed Bath and Beyond. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase!

I have been sleeping on this cover for a week now, and I am quite pleased. It went on the mattress easily and covers the entire thing. It doesn't make noise, it breathes nicely (no extra sweating at night), and it didn't change the feel of our mattress. Nothing has been spilled on the bed yet, so I can't testify to the waterproofing quality. As other reviewers have mentioned, only the top has the waterproof layer, so it won't protect the sides of your mattress.

I bought this item through Amazon and was pleased that it had a good price, came promptly and was as described. I am unaware of the mattress cover when it is on the bed. It is not noisy it doesn't feel like I'm sleeping on vinyl. It fit and went easily over my fairly thick queen mattress. It isn't lumpy, as are some other mattress covers I've had.

Bought two of these in early May 2010 and so far, they are great. Haven't had to test the water resistant quality yet (knock on wood). I was very concerned about the protectors making the bed too hot but that hasn't been the case at all. My husband tends to overheat quickly and so far, no complaints from him - I even asked about a week into using them and he'd forgotten the protector was on the bed. I highly recommend - especially at this price. I'm considering buying the pillow protectors next.

We have had this cover on a twin sized mattress for a little over a month. It fits great, no slipping or coming off the mattress despite a somewhat restless sleeper. We have not had to try out how waterproof it is. The fabric is very nice, like terry cloth. It came in the mail very quickly.

I purchased this mattress cover for a queen sized bed. It washes and dries wonderfully, and slides on the bed easily. The top portion is a soft terry material, and is very cozy. The sides are deep enough to accomodate most mattresses. I did not notice one single bit of noise with this cover. It is nice and silent, and you don't even know it is on the bed. When an accident does occur, it is best to have an extra mattress cover put away with the spare set of sheets. Accidents usually happen in the dead of night, with the person waking up in soiled sheets, in distress. If you can save the day with a fresh set of sheets, along with a clean mattress cover, along with a clean set of clothes to put the person in, believe me, you'll be worth your weight in gold.

A tip for all of you about to go through a colonoscopy - they load you up on a tremendous amount of medication to get your colon totally clean so they can see what is going on to make a proper diagnosis. The person receiving the medications is usually so worn out before bedtime from the various cleansers that, prior to the testing the next day, even in sweatpants and undies at bedtime, there may be a problem. It is usually unavoidable. Be a hero and take care of them.

Will fit as deep a mattress as needed. And my sheets no longer slip off the corners. To those discomfited by the waterproofing, let me say that I've slept on waterproof mattress covers for years (dogs unfortunately do have accidents), and this is by far the best I've encountered with regard to comfort and sound. If you you don't like this one, I don't believe there's one that actually "does the job" you will like.

I purchased both the pillow protectors and the mattress protector to protect my newly purchased mattress and pillows. Both products really work as they claimed. My two pugs have accidents the very first day on the bed and pillows. The liquid did not leak thru the protectors and the bed and pillows stay dry. It does not trap heat when sleeping on it, and have a very soft feeling unlike other plastic protectors. My bed with the toppers is about 18 inches deep and the mattress protector fits perfectly in the pockets. I highly recommend these products and will purchase a new set for my guest bedroom.

We just bought a new mattress (wow! are they expensive!!) a little over a year ago and passed on purchasing a mattress cover thinking it was a needless extra expense. Boy were we wrong! After one of our cats threw up on the comforter of the bed, we found it had soaked through to the sheets and, yes, you guessed it, the mattress. My husband was livid, I wasn't happy, but felt I had to stick up for the cats since my husband was threatening to ban them from any part of our house that had furniture!!!! I used Spray and Wash Dual Action, which I swear by, and got the stain out. The next day we went to Amazon and searched for a protective mattress cover. We purchased this one and it has been wonderful. We no longer worry about "accidents" from the cats and don't even notice there is anything besides the sheets on the bed at night. I would recommend this to anyone with pets, small children or elderly to protect their mattress. Actually it would be a good idea for anyone to have one on their mattress because accidents can happen to anyone and anything from the flu to a million other reasons can cause them. It is worth the cost to insure your mattress isn't destroyed or stained.

When we purchased our matress 4-5 years ago we got a protector to keep it safe from possible puppy mistakes.
The puppies are now grown, but we still felt the need to keep the mattress protected. This product is almost indistinguishable from
the original protector, which was around $140 in 2005 dollars. It is noise free, doesn't seem to cause sweating, and is easy to put on, and also stays put. It does not seem to impair the comfort of the mattress itself.

The service was excellent, arriving 2 days early via free shipping. Definitely a really good buy.

We have two cats that can at times be pee and blurp happy, so we wanted some extra protection for our mattress should they ever decide to practice these habits on our bed (fortunately they haven't so far). Until today, I had forgotten that we had put the mattress protector on our bed...that's how comfortable and unintrusive it is! Can't vouch for how well it might protect the mattress from cat pee, but it appears that it will, and I have every confidence in it.

This mattress protector is excellent for a deep pillowtop mattress. I do NOT understand the reviews that call it noisy! Are you kidding? I want waterproof protection and this mattress protector gives me that with no noise that I can hear!

Also, I do not understand the comments about it "changing the feel of a pillowtop mattress". You really do have to be kidding? This protector is so very thin I do not notice any difference at all.

Bought it based on the reviews and have to agree fully. I bought this to replace the one we currently have on our bed that cost 3 times as much and never fit right and just felt rubbery where it should have felt like terrycloth. Although being made in China, it is very high quality and attention to detail and sewing are very good. There's even terrycloth on the elastic part that goes under the mattress. My old one doesn't even have that! The meshing between the upper pad and lower elastic is a bit less porous than my old protector but maybe that keeps out more dust mites. This is one of those bargains that I feel goes against the you-get-what-you-pay-for adage. Well worth it.

I was looking for a thin water-resistant/proof twin XL (not an easy size to find, especially in retail stores) mattress protector for my new latex mattress. I wanted it thin enough that I could feel the latex, but I needed it to protect against pets, moisture, etc... This protector is perfect. It fits, it's thin and comfortable, it's waterproof and the price is very reasonable. It's been washed twice and is like new. I received it at least a week before I was expecting it, too.

We caught bedbugs from our neighbors and it was driving us crazy. We had previously tried other mattress covers but they either did not fit right or they were too hot. It just wasn't working out. But this mattress cover is awesome! Not to mention waterproof. It feels like terrycloth on top. It fits the mattress beautifully. And the first night we put it on we slept through the entire night. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone whose experiencing problems with bedbugs, mites or allergies before you try a professional exterminator. It would have cost us approximately $1500 to exterminate a two bedroom appartment. By purchasing this item along with Sleep Safe pillow covers and box spring cover we were able to solve the problem and save money.

I can not think of enough GREAT things to say about this product. From the companies packing to the item itself it gets 10 STARS from me. I bought the Queen size. I was scared to buy just a cover instead of a zippered encasement but this item is great!. Even though you put it on like a regular sheet it wraps around so most of the under side of the mattress is covered also. There is no shifting & since the plastic has a top cover it feels nice. I will update if anything bad happens after i wash it. It is made very well so i am not that worried. I am really sleeping better with less congestion in my nose. I am so pleased that i have another one on order that I will use on a fold down sleeper couch in the living room. This is also great protection for animal owners like me. Clean up is much easier . I bought this to protect from dust mites. It probably does its job, but I didn't notice a big difference in my allergies, I'm allergic to other things besides dust and there are other sources of dust in my life.

The product is not a fully-enclosed case but rather like a fitted sheet that extends much further beneath the bed. The apparent change in the bedding is minimal once it is put on. You'll still have the same texture of your sheets on top of it, but it will make a slightly different sound. The difference is really trivial though. The pillow protectors are the same way, but they are full encasements with zippers, though they are a little too big for my pillows. Not a big deal though.

I would recommend this product.

I am in the midst of surgical menopause and also have a topper on my bed that is about 4" thick. Even with a pillow top mattress and my topper, this mattress protector fits! With hot flashes and an occasional night sweat, this is great. We needed a new cover because we bought one from a big box store and ended up wearing a hole in it at the feet (restless legs perhaps). The other cover lasted about 2 years but was a complete mess when we replaced it with this one. This cover is in an entirely different class of mattress cover and seems extremely durable.

The ONLY place where I think it might show some wear over time (or may rip) is with the material on the sides. The material allows for a lot of stretching which is great with elastic all around. The material on the sides is a fine mesh. It's definitely a nice cover.

I am giving it 5 stars because of the price and the quality. Also because it comes with a 15 year guarantee! You can't beat that.

The top is a terrycloth material which has something on the backside that keeps it waterproof and allergen proof -- a big plus without dealing with TOTALLY having to encase your mattress.

I didn't want to pay $75-$100 on a king cover, so came to Amazon. After looking at them all, I found this cover to have the best price and most positive remarks to cover my temperpedic mattress. Lo and behold, my whippet peed the bed (he had never done this before) the very night I put this cover on. I jerked the cover off, washed it again, and put it back on the protected bed. Sooooo thankful.

This is an excellent mattress protector. I wondered if it was true that it was quiet and would not cause one to perspire. I live in the South and we've had a very hot June. The cover truly does not make you perspire more than without it and it really is quiet. It also washed and dried just fine. Highly recommend it.

We received very prompt shipment on this item. The price is very good for the quality. We found it to be everything they say it is. We have had several accidents on the bed since installing the mattress protector and the water did not leak through the pad. It is very flexible and does not feel like a waterproof pad. The only negative thing about it is that it is difficult to install by one person. The second person makes the job much easier.

The shower curtain was hot and didn't breathe, so I was afraid this would be the same way. But nope, it's great! You can't even tell that it's there. It's breathable and fits perfectly. Our li'l guy decided to pull the piece of thread off the seam of our Simmons Beautyrest mattress resulting to exposed foam. I'm surprised how easily the seam unraveled for a supposedly good Simmons beautyrest bed. My husband and I tried to reseal the exposed side and bought this nice mattress protector for the mattress. It's a protection from the li'l guy and from moisture, bugs, etc. So far it's doing its job and we're happy with the product.

I did a lot of looking prior to purchasing this mattress cover. I wanted something that would be both comfortable and yet provide the waterproof protection that I needed. This was a perfect match! This is a thin waterproof cover that provides a nice soft surface to lay on. It does not create a noisy or warm sleeping environment like a plastic sheet could. Please strongly consider this item if you are in the market.

I found this product to be excellent! I had used an odor remover called what odor to refresh our matress and the smell it gave off made our bed smell so strong that I could not lay on it. After using this protector, the smell did not come through. It was a life safer considering I sleep with my baby who could not tolerate the smell of the freshener either!

I purchased this protector for our new foam memory mattress because I wanted to extend the life of the mattress and have been known to knock a glass of water off the nightstand onto the bed. Though I haven't had to test it's absorptive capabilities, I'm very pleased. The protector is plastic with a terry cloth like top, thin but it still looks like it could hold a fair amount of liquid and there isn't any easy way for water to get through it (water would have to fill up the layer on top of the mattress and then drip down the side of it). There is a slightly louder rustling sound now that it is on the bed, but it hasn't caused a problem at all. Overall, I'm very happy with it and would recommend it.

My morning routine was always accompanied by a sever case of allergies -- sneezing and lots of tissues. We bought the LinenSpa Premium Mattress Protector for our California King mattress. It fits perfectly, looks comfortable, and IS comfortable. It's top layer breathes well due to the fabric, and we did not feel any increase in temperature... especially given that it is the heat of the summer here.

But most importantly, I do not suffer from the allergies anymore. Within 2 days of using the protector, I noticed a difference. By day 4 my allergies were gone. I'm actually enjoying my morning coffee now.

I have not washed it yet, so I cannot attest to its durability, but it does look to be very well made. I don't anticipate any problems.

I bought a new 800 dollar mattress awhile back and the salesman talked me into not using a mattress pad, which i did and loved it. The only problem is..skin oils eventually discolor your nice mattress and the best mattress cleaner wont get it out. I bought a nice cover and hated it..totally changed the way my mattress felt and it was too hot. This cover was perfect. I wasn't looking for wet protection, but its fine. highly recommended.

We have a memory foam mattress and we have been using a regular mattress pad/cover which we really don't need. This mattress protector is perfect for the memory foam mattress which fits over the mattress nicely and we can feel the softness of the mattress, and it doesn't trap heat while sleeping on it. We can't even tell that there is a mattress cover on the mattress and it's very comfortable.

This mattress protector seems to be a good product for the money. I hope that it lives up to the description, and the 15 year warranty, but time will tell. I hope that I don't have to find out whether or not that it's truly waterproof though. What I do know, is that it fits my new ultra plush orthapedic "Original Mattress Company" mattress really well, without having to struggle to get it on. My husband hasn't complained that the waterproofing causes it to be hot to sleep on or make any noise (he would have definately let me know by now if it had caused him any discomfort). I can't tell it's on there either. I wish that the sides were made of the same material that's on the top though. However, I'm about to buy one more like this for another bed in our house.

I love letting the dogs sleep in the bed and this mattress protector has continually saved my mattress from puppy housetraining accidents, drool, etc. They also improved the design; I had this same mattress protector last year and it fell apart in the dryer, but I bought a replacement and the new one is much more durable.

I purchased this mattress protector as a replacement for a cheap mattress cover we had. Quality mattress protectors aren't cheap and I hated to shell out a lot of money, but got this one at a great sale price.
It was shipped out the same day I ordered it, which was impressive.
The mattress protector fit our bed perfectly, and when it's covered with a bottom sheet, you'd never know it was there. I haven't found it to be hot or unbreathable like some reviewers said, and though it is a little noisy as contrasted to just having a sheet on the mattress, it's not enough to be annoying at all. In fact my husband doesn't even notice any sound.
Our mattress was a big investment that I hope to make last for a decade, and I think that the LinenSpa mattress protector will be able to help me achieve that.

This mattress cover has a terry cloth top and a poly backing. The backing is great for keeping out critters, but does has a slight plastic-like feel. But if you don't want to pay twice as much for the all cloth kind this is a good alternative. Pretty comfortable under sheets.

The king size fits our king size bed perfectly! Even has enough fabric to wrap around a thicker mattress. The first night we put it on and laid on the bed it felt kind of different... Kind of like we were laying on sticky plastic... But after that first time getting in bed we haven't noticed it. Just took a minute of getting used to. There is no noise when you move around on it. I'm extremely happy with the purchase. Was worth the price too!

Got this mattress cover a few weeks ago now. Its been pretty good. Can't really test it out since i don't want to spill stuff on my bed, but its nice and quiet. Compared to other mattress protection stuff, like vinyl covers, i find this much better. Mainly cause it has a nice cotton top, and the bottom is kinda like plastic, but doesn't cause noise. I was a bit disappointed because I thought it would wrap around the whole bed, but it doesn't really matter so much.

The Malouf mattress protector has been just as advertised (and at about half the price for similar products in major catalogs) - it is washable, quiet, and comfortable. I haven't had occasion to put the waterproof-ness to the test (fortunately), but the poly-urethane undercoating is in good shape and looks up to the task. It fit well on my McCrosky (fairly large, but not pillow topped) mattress. It only gets 4 stars beacause - well, though perfect, as far as I can tell, it's a matress cover, how excited am I supposed to get?

As a mattress protector, it seemed fine, but I needed a mattress cover that zipped to prevent bed bugs from infesting my mattress and this one does NOT zip and will NOT protect against bed bugs, unlike the description. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU WANT PROTECTION FROM BED BUGS. otherwise, it has a good warranty and seemed like a fine mattress cover.

This is basically a mattress cover made of low quality terry-cloth lined with a plasticky material. From the description of the product, one would think that a lot of science went into the development of this product since it talks about dust mite prevention. Frankly, it's probably no different than putting down a plastic drop cloth ($1 at the dollar store)and a sheet over that. As for the 15 year warranty, it's just a marketing gimmick. Due to its skimpiness, I'd be surprised it come out intact after the first wash. It is way over-priced for what it is.

This terry cover doesn't cling tightly to the mattress so that the wrinkles have to be straightened out all over each time I make my bed. This purchase replaced a pad that was similar in construction and price but was far superior. Not the best for someone like me who fusses over very little wrinkle, but still good mattress protection.

I have no complaints about the seller, the price was great, and the delivery was quick. I am not understanding all the great reviews for this mattress cover now that I had it on my brand new Sealy Springport ultra plush pillowtop king mattress set. The cover was very noisy and it did change the feel of the mattress dramatically. My sweetie and I had this mattress cover on our new bed about 2 minutes tops to try it out, but couldn't get past the noise factor and we liked how our bed felt without the mattress cover. Got it back into the box the best I could and will be sending it back unused. Unfortunate product experience which didn't live up to the other positive feedback about this item.

We ordered this mattress cover in an attempt to save our mattress from our cats infrequent, but nonetheless aggravating bed urination. Tonight, I come to bed to find a big smelly mess. I strip the mattress, thinking "hah! at least the mattress will be dry, I've got an expensive fancy cover on it!" No deal, there on the mattress was the soaked through pee.
